open studio ~ July 18/19, 2026 ~ 12-5pm each day

The American Craft Council has organized their first-ever nationwide open studio event this summer, & my home studio in Alexandria will be a part of it!

The ACC has organized & publicized this lovely event with only a small cost to the artists.  Please support their kindness by registering as a participant in the event on their National Craft Open Studio Page (which allows you to register for free). 

Once you register, you can find my Alexandria, VA home studio on their map.  I'm so lucky to live & work here in Alx, where I have a fully-equipped basement studio w/ two pottery wheels & an electric kiln as well as a 16-cu-ft gas kiln in our backyard. (I also have a portable wheel that I'll be using to demo throwing in our backyard during the event.) I love to talk about the process of clay work, & I look forward to being able to illustrate it for you in person.

A few notes on your visit:

• feel free to park on either side of the street in front of the house & come straight up our driveway (there will be signs!)
• there are no steps to get up the driveway, but it is on an incline, so please be comfortable w/ an uphill walk
• seeing my kiln requires going up/down a single step, but seeing my studio will require going down (& later up) two small flights of steps
